CLUBS FOR GRADE I – V

The Nature club believes that nature teaches life’s lessons in its own subtle ways and enables our students to share their responsibilities in maintaining a healthy environment and to take steps to avoid environmental degradation in their individual capacity as well as in a group.

Discovery Club’s mission is to provide out-of-school time Child Care in a safe, fun, nurturing environment that supports children’s learning and development.

Math club provide a platform to learn concepts in which some students are not familiar. In a math club, there are excellent math tutors who help these mathematicians. Gradually, these students will be familiar to the problems and hence will have fewer obstacles in solving math problems.

 

Game club helps students in character building and maintain energy and strength which improve their blood circulation and physically fit, it also improves the mental sharpness and stamina. It always develops a sense of friendliness, team spirit, confidence among children

 

Indian Language Club helps students to acquire various linguistics skills. The club provides ample opportunities for children to develop their interest towards their own language. The members of this club will conduct Tamil food festivals, South Indian and North Indian festivals which help students to learn about their tradition

 

The Drama Club is dedicated to bringing the joy and power of Drama to students by providing high quality dramatic programming at the beginner and intermediate levels

The Mission is to create a more sophisticated and more talented group of students with a vast and deep knowledge in different areas

Storytellers know a secret…children are natural storytellers! However, our education system seems to downplay the importance of storytelling and of letting our children’s voices be heard.

 As the name suggests, one of the primary aims of the Cultural Club is to help students keep in touch with the rich cultural values, customs and traditions of our country. The Cultural Club aims at moulding the personality of students and exposes them to a wide range of cultural events throughout the year.

Health & Wellness Clubs in schools can favorably influence the habits, attitude and knowledge relating to an individual and community. These clubs can modify our behaviour towards the attainment of optimum health.

Choir club will aim to give children the opportunity to develop a love of music and singing, in a friendly environment. We will look at developing a good singing technique and performance skills. The skills developed within music are highly transferable to all aspects of a child’s education. Therefore not only will choir club aim to foster a love of singing, but nurture self esteem and confidence within a friendly team

CLUBS FOR GRADE VI – XI.

Eco club performs activities to save the environment, like planting trees, organizing poster competitions on various environmental issues. Eco club is a voluntary group which promotes the participation of students in examining and improving their environment. The club members are asked to plant and maintain the botanical garden.

 

Science club aims to promote science interest and engagement through challenging and mind stretching tasks. Members will be exposed to important science objectives through a variety of real time problem solving tasks. The club members are asked to help the other students during science fair.

English club is a place where students can meet to read and write. This helps the students to learn the language deeper. It also helps club members to practice to speak fluently in English with real –life task. It helps them to develop team work and leadership skills. At the end of an academic year the students of this club are asked to create a Magazine which gives them a good experience and improves their vocabulary knowledge. The student of this club also conducts ‘beaufort’ a program which mainly focuses on English plays.

 

 

The goal of this club is to increase and diversify the technical knowledge of its members. The Club helps the students to know the importance and various applications available in Computer and Mobile phones. It provides chance for the members of the school to learn to appreciate and have fun with the technology placed in front of them. The students of this club create banners, posters and assist all school programs technically.

Disaster Management club create awareness among students for dealing with all humanitarian aspects of emergencies, in particular preparedness, response and recovery in order to lessen the impact of disasters.

Integrity clubs are designed as ‘community groups’ for cultivating human values among students by means of organizing games, activities and workshops in school.

 

Heritage club education is not merely recreation club for students but also an important part of their learning process. It helps them understand History and society and will inculcate values of respect for diversity and tolerance. While it is important to highlight aspects of national heritage, it is also important to bring local heritage into the purview of heritage education programmes

Foreign Languages Club brings together students and staff members who want to learn new languages and master the ones they already know.
Learning process includes traditional lessons, seminars, movies, music, and even multicultural festivals.
